@ManaliJain: , @Venkat TL: is Anupamaa will considered as sequel to this series??? As much as I know sequel is something which is released after the release of first part. And here the series itself is a prequel series to Anupamaa released after 2 years of it's premiere. So shouldn't we consider Anupamaa as mother series instead of calling it a sequel?? Firstly, sequel means anything in continuation or following to another, and I don't think prequels or sequels have anything to do with release time period. Secondly, I don't think calling it as "mother series" is encyclopedic. Lastly, sequel is a narrative work that occurs after the original story, these can often be in the form of backstory, expository, or side story, and as long as the story being told is chronologically after an original or first work, it can be labelled as a sequel, and the same goes here with this series.
