Elisey Syrov (Russian: Елисей Сыров; born 16 January 2008) is a Russian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Ludogorets Razgrad.[1]

Career

Born in Saint Petersburg, Russia, Syrov began his career at Zenit Saint Petersburg Academy. [2] In the summer of 2022 he moved with his family to Bulgaria and joined Ludogorets Razgrad Academy.[3] He quickly establimished himself in the academy teams becoming champion with both U16 and U17 teams and won the award for best U17 player in Bulgaria.[4] On 26 May 2024 he was unused subtitute in the league match against Levski Sofia.[5] On 28 July 2024 he signed his first professional contract with Ludogorets at the age of 16 and was called one of biggest talents in Ludogorets Academy.[6][7] In June 2024 he joined the summer camp with the first team.[8] In January 2025 he was once again called for the first team winter camp.[9]

International career

In an interview in January 2025, Ludogorets II manager, Zahari Sirakov, spoke about the desire of Syrov to gain Bulgarian citizenship and represent Bulgaria.[10]
