Français : L'Olympieion était un temple dédié à Zeus qui a été commencé en 515 av. J.-C. mais qui n'a été terminé qu'à l'époque romaine sous l'empereur Hadrien en 131. Cet empereur romain était un amateur d'art grec mais aussi de jeunes éphèbes comme Antinoüs. Au fond, on voit le versant sud de l'Acropole et du Parthénon.
English: The Olympiaion was a temple dedicated to Zeus that was started in 515 BC. But which was only completed in Roman times under Emperor Hadrian in 131. This Roman emperor was a lover of Greek art but also of young ephebes like Antinous. In the background, we see the southern slope of the Acropolis and the Parthenon.
