Template documentation[view] [edit] [history] [purge]This template is a wrapper around {{Archives by months}}, but constructed as a header, and automatically generating all of the years needed to show the monthly archives with Module:Years generator.
Usage
Basic usage
Copy and paste at the top of the talk page you want to display this notice:
{{Monthly archived talk|year}}
Replace year with the year your monthly archiving started. The template will generate for you everything else.
Available options
You can use any option offered to you by {{Archives by months}} here; just add it in after year.
You can use the option |archivetime= to display a message stating an archiving timeframe policy - for instance, |archivetime=5 days.
You can also set |nosearch= to hide the search bar from your archive banner if you do not want it to be there. If it is not working, try setting the relevant options for {{Archives by months}} on this template.
You can set |uncollapsed=true (or any other value) to have the monthlist uncollapsed by default.
