Move Draft:Bigg Boss (Tamil TV series) season 9 article into mainspace
Hello Ravensfire, Since the show is going to be airing tomorrow onwards. Is it possible to move the article into the mainspace of Wikipedia which will allow other editiors to also contribute to any information regarding the show. Thank you Aishwaryaa1511 (talk) 04:14, 4 October 2025 (UTC)
- Submit the draft for approval after you've added the details from the broadcast, with sources of course. Ravensfire (talk) 14:16, 4 October 2025 (UTC)
- Hello, i have added details regarding the broadcast and have added sources in relation with the topics in the article. Aishwaryaa1511 (talk) 14:37, 4 October 2025 (UTC)
Most of the content in the lead section are unsourced. You can check and verify that. Could you please cleanup? 2409:4073:487:6DF9:C0BF:C03F:8A26:E4B5 (talk) 05:46, 8 October 2025 (UTC)
- Generally, information in the lead SHOULD NOT have citations as it should summarize what's in the body and the citations should be in the body. See WP:CITELEAD. Ravensfire (talk) 19:07, 8 October 2025 (UTC)
Hello Ravensfire, This show is going on Star Pravah and id redirected i thought this article have their personal realable source so i think we have to add information about it so let me know how can we do this. YAKSH75 (talk) 06:09, 15 October 2025 (UTC)
- Have a decent article backed by reliable sources that aren't pre-release publicity churnalism. It was deleted in 2024, so your best bet is to start a draft article and go through the AFC approval process. Do NOT try to move it yourself or just create the article (skipping the draft), it will end up deleted. Ravensfire (talk) 13:30, 15 October 2025 (UTC)
- So i can move the main space into Draft space and will continue editing just like that. YAKSH75 (talk) 07:03, 16 October 2025 (UTC)
- You didn't read my response, did you?

Wikipedia is a collaborative process, don't ignore decisions from others because you don't like the result. Edit the draft and WAIT FOR IT TO BE ACCEPTED. Ravensfire (talk) 13:36, 16 October 2025 (UTC)- If the page is alredy created how can we make daft article for it? and in my sand box i have some information about this Page you can visit and check there. YAKSH75 (talk) 13:53, 16 October 2025 (UTC)
- You don't. Create the draft. If/when it is accepted, the reviewer will handle moving it to main space over the existing redirect. Ravensfire (talk) 13:59, 16 October 2025 (UTC)

Film release clashes as trivia
I saw your edit on Thamma. While it is valid, I do not think all mentions of film clashes are trivial. This is proof of that. Coolie vs War 2 is worth another mention. Anyway, I have not heard reports of Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat affecting Thamma's performance (maybe it's the opposite), so I guess it's best left out. Kailash29792 (talk) 01:42, 28 October 2025 (UTC)
- That's the key point - when reliable sources cover it because it affects performance of one film over the other, THEN it's relevant and useful to include. To just say "Oh, it's released the same day as XYZ and PDQ" is editor-selected trivia. Ravensfire (talk) 02:12, 28 October 2025 (UTC)
Sockpuppets
Hello admin, i want to report about sock puppetry. After user @GhoshThakur was blocked he created another sock account @Neutralwikipedian that was also blocked but now he has created two more sock accounts: @Asyoukniwand @Johndmafia. I request you to conduct a UC and block these socks too as there are creating trouble on various articles. 2409:40D0:2014:F75C:B063:8F22:A14:A1A6 (talk) 06:48, 2 November 2025 (UTC)
- Unfortunately, I'm not an admin here and really don't have any interest. The right place for this would be to create a report at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet_investigations/GhoshThakur. You'll need to include WP:DIFFS that show similar edits as previous socks, checkusers don't do the legwork based on speculation and belief - you need to show them the evidence. Temporary account IP viewer granted

Hello, Ravensfire. Per your request, your account has been granted temporary-account-viewer rights. You are now able to reveal the IP addresses of individuals using temporary accounts that are not visible to the general public. This is very sensitive information that is only to be used to aid in anti-abuse workflows. Please take a moment to review Wikipedia:Temporary account IP viewer for more information on this user right. It is important to remember:
- You must not share IP address data with someone who does not have the same access permissions unless disclosure is permissible as per guidelines listed at Foundation:Policy:Wikimedia Access to Temporary Account IP Addresses Policy.
- Access must not be used for political control, to apply pressure on editors, or as a threat against another editor in a content dispute. There must be a valid reason to investigate a temporary user. Note that using multiple temporary accounts is not forbidden, so long as they are not used in violation of policies (for example, block or ban evasion).
It is also important to note that the following actions are logged for others to see:
- When a user accepts the preference that enables or disables IP reveal for their account.
- Revealing an IP address of a temporary account.
- Listing the temporary accounts that are associated with one or more IP addresses (using the CIDR notation format).
Remember, even if a user is violating policy, avoid revealing personal information if possible. Use temporary account usernames rather than disclosing IP addresses directly, or give information such as same network/not same network or similar. If you do not want the user right anymore then please ask me or another administrator and it will be removed for you. You may also voluntarily give up access at any time by visiting Special:Preferences. Happy editing! Sohom (talk) 22:24, 4 November 2025 (UTC)
- Thank you! Ravensfire (talk) 22:25, 4 November 2025 (UTC)

Have a look
Have a look at these edits. A lot of similar additions lately by multiple users trying to game the system. I've raised the issue here at WP:INB. - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 20:39, 4 February 2026 (UTC)
- Sigh, why am I not surprised. At best, someone did it, thought "This one neat trick!" and then posted on reddit and now we have the next wave. Thank you for the pointer to the discussion! Ravensfire (talk) 20:42, 4 February 2026 (UTC)
- @Fylindfotberserk interesting, this seems to be used with some frequency on Bangledesh related articles - see [1] - an insource search I threw together. Change the language code to "as", which Rocigdefrance and Cabad56 used for some of the changes they did, and I get nothing at the moment. *shrug* We'll see what happens. I left Cabad56 a short pointer to INDICSCRIPT. Ravensfire (talk) 23:34, 4 February 2026 (UTC)
- I wonder why they'd use efn for Bangladeshi articles when scripts can be simply displayed. But then again, the reddit thing you mentioned may be true. Let's see. - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 10:05, 5 February 2026 (UTC)
JagdeepXC
Hello, I am writing this to clarify that I am a new user and I have no connection with the user "Deepcruze" or any other blocked account. My recent edits were reverted by mistake under the assumption that I am a "sockpuppet," but I assure you that I am a genuine new contributor trying to learn how Wikipedia works.
It is very discouraging to be labeled like this when I am just starting out. If my editing style or IP matched someone else's, it is purely a coincidence. Kindly guide me on how to clear this misunderstanding so I can continue to contribute properly. JagdeepXC (talk) 04:48, 5 February 2026 (UTC)
- We'll see what the checkuser says when they investigate the report. Quite interesting though, don't you think, that the two articles you edited restored the same material as the prior, now blocked account. Ravensfire (talk) 04:51, 5 February 2026 (UTC)
"Hello, thank you for your observation. I want to clarify that I am a new user and I am genuinely trying to learn how Wikipedia works. If my edits seemed similar to a previous account, it might be because I found that information relevant to the topic. I have no intention of violating any policies and I am already in touch with Satdeep Gill to learn the correct way to contribute. I would appreciate your guidance instead of suspicion, as I am here to help improve Punjabi Wikipedia. I am happy to cooperate with any investigation."

Check
@Ravensfire Please check these two pages I think not notable subject Angel Rai and Farrhana Bhatt. ~2026-83862-5 (talk) 18:19, 6 February 2026 (UTC)
G.Edward Griffin
Here is a quotation from Pranksters:making mischief in the modern world: "Paul's endorsement of G. Edward Griffin's The Creature from Jekyll Island: A Second Look at the Federal Reserve–along with several other positions he holds–has made him an icon for New World Order conspiracy theorists. Griffin's book is laced with standard-issue references to the Council on Foreign Relations, W. Cleon Skousen, Carroll Quigley, the Rothschild family, and the Bavarian Illuminati (a branch of which, the author suggests, played a role in assassinating Abraham Lincoln). Griffin was also a longtime affiliate of the John Birch Society, which published several of his nutty books. In Paul's blurb for The Creature from Jekyll Island, he calls it "a superb analysis deserving serious attention by all Americans. Be prepared for one heck of a journey through time and mind." It sure is. The congressman is a principled libertarian conservative whose positions on civil liberties, the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, and the legalization of drugs overlap with those of many people on the left. He is a learned man and not a nut. However, when this congressman appears on Alex Jones's show, endorses Bircher books about a Federal Reserve conspiracy, and warns of nonexistent plans for a NAFTA Superhighway, it shows how the fringe ideas discussed throughout this book have infiltrated substantial parts of the political mainstream." A s you can see there is nothing here which cites any evidence which disproves Griffin's ideas. It just calls it "nutty". Do you have any other quotes from this book to disprove his theories regarding the federal reserve? If not then either find a better source or stop reverting my edits to the preamble of G.Edward Griffin's page.
As you said on the edit history I have looked through the talk page and there are multiple people who have criticised this source yet everyone who is in favour of using this source simply runs away or just blindly asserts it as an authority despite the valid criticisms of it.
Please provide another quote or source or I will reinstate my edit. King of Crimson (talk) 17:35, 15 February 2026 (UTC)

creation of Balaji Murugadoss (actor)
Dear Ravensfire, I have re created the article since it was deleted a few years ago due to the lack of notability and references. However coming to the present i have found that the individual has acted in a few films in crucial roles and won a reality show too more or less a notable one too. I don't understand why it is nominated for deletion. Nicolien.Swart (talk) 05:27, 18 February 2026 (UTC)
- The article was deleted a few years ago, so the notability is absolutely in question. Winning a show is not by itself enough to show notability on Wikipedia. WP:NACTOR is the criteria needed. In addition, as you found out, the page title without the (actor) disambiguation is protected from being used as an article because it was recreated disruptively so many times. Relax, be patient, have those good sources (not interviews, not churnalism, not paid/sponsored articles) that show how NACTOR is met. Worst case, go through the draft process where an AFC reviewer can evaluate the article. Above all, don't be disruptive, don't use temp accounts, don't use multiple accounts. All of that puts you, and the article, in a bad light. Ravensfire (talk) 13:47, 18 February 2026 (UTC)
If by mistake I created a draft and want to delete it now, how can I do that?
pls tell Akashsharma000 (talk) 12:50, 19 February 2026 (UTC)
- You can use the {{Db-u1}} template, just put it at the top of the page. Ravensfire (talk) 13:57, 19 February 2026 (UTC)
