Tips
  • Don't be afraid to edit! Just find something that can be improved and make it better. Other editors will help fix any mistakes you make.
  • It's normal to feel a little overwhelmed, but don't worry if you don't understand everything at first—it's fine to edit using common sense.
  • If an edit you make is reverted, you can discuss the issue at the article's talk page. Be civil, and don't restore the edit unless there is consensus.
  • Always use edit summaries to explain your changes.
  • When adding new content to an article, always include a citation to a reliable source.
  • If you wish to edit about a subject with which you are affiliated, read our conflict of interest guide and disclose your connection.
  • Have fun! Your presence in the Wikipedia community is welcome.

Susan Moulton McMaster moved to draftspace

Thanks for your contributions to Susan Moulton McMaster. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it has no sources. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. CycloneYoris talk! 20:30, 21 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

My apologies. I did not realize it got published. I was working on it and closed my laptop which may have cause it to be published. I am in the process of adding sources and other pertinent information. AlbertaHistory (talk) 22:23, 21 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Your submission at Articles for creation: Susan Moulton McMaster (August 23)

Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed. Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by Greenman was:
This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of people). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit after they have been resolved.

Speedy deletion nomination of Grace Martin McEachern

Hello AlbertaHistory,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Grace Martin McEachern for deletion, because it's a redirect from an article title to a namespace that's not for articles.

If you don't want Grace Martin McEachern to be deleted, you can , but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Marion E. Moodie, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Ninette. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed. Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reasons left by Spinster300 were:
This submission does not appear to be written in the formal tone expected of an encyclopedia article. Entries should be written from a neutral point of view, and should refer to a range of independent, reliable, published sources. Please rewrite your submission in a more encyclopedic format. Please make sure to avoid peacock terms that promote the subject.

Undefined sfn reference in Stanley Harwood McCuaig

Hi, in this edit to Stanley Harwood McCuaig you use {{Sfn|Wilmar|1987|p=208}}. Unfortunately no such source "Wilmar 1987" is listed. This means that nobody can look up the reference, and also adds the article to Category:Harv and Sfn no-target errors. If you could supply the missing source it would be appreciated.
