Español: Cristina Fernández inauguró hoy en el Congreso de la Nación el 131º período de sesiones ordinarias. La mandataria trazó un balance de su gestión y anunció el envío de proyectos de ley para democratizar la Justicia, como por ejemplo la elección directa de los miembros del Consejo de la Magistratura. Además, defendió el memorandum de entendimiento con Irán por la causa AMIA como medio de "buscar la verdad". Y volvió a reclamar al Reino Unido que se siente a dialogar por la soberanía de Malvinas. Antes de su discurso, la mandataria inauguró una vitrina ubicada en Pasos Perdidos que contiene una de las siete banderas que flamearon en las Islas Malvinas en el marco del Operativo Cóndor, en septiembre de 1966.
