Español: Bóveda elíptica diseñada por Hernán Ruiz el Joven (1561-1563), bajo la influencia del Tratado de Arquitectura de Sebastiano Serlio. Diversas circunstancias ocasionaron retrasos en el proyecto, interviniendo en la dirección Francisco del Castillo el Mozo, Andrés de Vandelvira, Juan de Maeda y Asensio de Maeda, que la termina en 1592. Bartolomé Esteban Murillo (1668) la decoró con tondos pintados y una magnífica pintura de la Purísima Concepción. |
