The 1913–14 English football season was Aston Villa's 26th season in the Football League.
"The Wellington Whirlwind," played as a centre forward for Aston Villa from 1904 to 1920.[1]
Villa started the season with a goal-less draw at Bradford City[2] before losing 3-0 away to Sunderland.[3]
There were debuts for Bill Williams,[4] John Laidlaw,[5] Jack McLaverty,[6] Bob Chandler,[7] Reg Boyne,[8] Bert McLachlan,[9] Archie Dyke,[10] Herby Smart [11] and Charlie Slade (3).[12][13]
