- iphone product box. Likely copyrighted. No reason given to suggest that Apple has given permission to consumers to publish photos under free license(s). FASTILYsock(TALK) 06:08, 8 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- I wasn't sure what license I should give this pic. Or whether it's ok to have this uploaded to illustrate the iPhone 3G box on the iPhone article. I've been licensing a lot of photos under the dual license I assigned to this piece. Maybe it's okay to downsize the resolution and assign Fair Use to this? (Like this one?) Someone knowledgeable on this issue please advise. ~ Feureau E.S.P. (talk) 08:01, 8 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the debate was: Erroneous Nomination. When following the listing instructions (step 2), you need to replace "Image_name.ext
" with the actual name of the file. You'll also want to put your reason for deletion just after "reason=
". Feel free to just replace this entire section with the corrected template. If you are still having trouble, ask for help at WT:PUF or at my talk page. AnomieBOT⚡ 14:45, 8 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

- Keep. No reason given for deletion. IronGargoyle (talk) 13:34, 19 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- My apologies for not specifying the reason. Phi Kappa Psi's badge is protected by a trademark, and the file should indicate as such. This means that it should only be permitted on Wikipedia under the fair use guidelines. It is not currently being used on a page, so I believe that it should be deleted. NYCRuss ☎ 12:00, 21 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Trademark is not at issue here though. It is true that trademark would prevent another fraternity from using the logo design for their own fraternity, but it does not generally prevent most other uses. The discussions here is about copyright. Unless the fraternity crest changed at some point since 1852 (when the fraternity was founded), the crest design would now be in the public domain.
