Can be repeated two more times by appending 2 or 3 to the parameter name.

- Name of the tool
- image
- An image illustrating the item
- image_size
- Size of image in pixels. Deprecated per WP:THUMBSIZE; please use
|image_upright=instead. - image_upright
- Relative size of the image. Set
|image_upright=yesfor portrait-oriented images, or a value greater than or less than|upright=1to customize. - title
- Title of the image (mouseover text)
- alt
- Alt text for the image; will show up as mouse-over text if title parameter is not used
- caption
- Caption for the image above

- other_name
- Other name(s) used for this item
- classification
- General type, e.g. hand tool, power tool, garden tool, etc.
- uses
- What is this item used for, e.g. cutting, concentrating force, guiding, protecting, seizing and holding, etc.
- types
- Different types of this tool, e.g. hammer = ball-peen hammer, cross-peen hammer, etc.
- used_with
- Tools that this one is used in conjunction with, e.g. hammer + chisel, punc, etc.
- inventor
- Inventor(s) of the item (if any)
- manufacturer
- If this is an item specific to a particular manufacturer, put the name here
- model
- if this is a particular manufacturer's model, put the model name or number here
- related
- related tools, e.g. hammer = axe, maul, etc.
