The infobox is for disease-specific information and is not meant as a replacement of the Taxobox. It should be added as shown below.

Parameters
- color
- Header background colour, e.g. "lightblue"
- name
- The common name of the disease. This should be the same as the name of the article, but excluding the host name
- image
- An image of the disease
- caption
- A caption to the image
- common_names
- List of common names in alphabetical order
- causal_agents
- Causal agent (scientific name) or complex of causal agents. This should not include synonyms. Synonyms should appear in the pathogen's taxobox.
- hosts
- Organisms which host the disease; see host
- vectors
- Organisms which transmit the disease; see vector
- EPPO_code
- EPPO code associated with the causal agent
- second_EPPO_code
- A second EPPO code
- distribution
- Geographical distribution
- symptoms : Symptoms of the disease
- treatment
- Treatment methods
