Missing critical information
Rick Perry was central to the Trump administrations plot to use fake electors to overturn a democrat election, he is referenced many times in media sources as well as obviously in the wikipedia entry on the topic, but his page here has been scrubbed clean of any references and then locked to avoid anyone adding anything about the former governor's attempt to overthrow democracy in the US. Would someone with more wiki-competence like to add a new section detailing this? 2A02:2454:9976:7200:8104:18F1:17C4:F240 (talk) 21:09, 27 August 2024 (UTC)

Not done: It's already there; in the Political offices section of the template. It's not a Party political office. And you got the preceding commissioner wrong... ⸺(Random)staplers 17:20, 3 September 2024 (UTC)
- This request isn't for the office holders, which as you pointed out is already listed. It's for the nominees for the office, similar to the existing succession boxes for the office of lieutenant governor and governor, which are already listed. The reason the predecessor is different is because it's referring to who is predecessor was as Republican nominee for the office of Texas Agriculture Commissioner, not his predecessor in the office of Agriculture Commissioner (said predecessor being Jim Hightower, a Democrat). Please add it so the succession boxes are displayed as the following:
Not done for now: You're still going to need to provide a reliable source supporting Bill Powers as the previous nominee, since he doesn't have a Wikipedia page. ⸺(Random)staplers 19:24, 10 September 2024 (UTC)
- Okay, I found a 1986 primary election source on the Texas Almanac. One moment...⸺(Random)staplers 19:37, 10 September 2024 (UTC)

Add hyperlink (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dan_Brouillette) to Dan Brouillette's page, as the Deputy Secretary of Energy in the infobox section. Jgraham4389 (talk) 18:28, 10 February 2025 (UTC)
Partly done: I swapped the link from the successor to the deputy. It only needs to be linked once in the infobox. Aydoh8[contribs] 12:38, 11 February 2025 (UTC)
