Drienovská Nová Ves (Hungarian: Somosújfalu) is a village and municipality in Prešov District in the Prešov Region of eastern Slovakia.

History

In historical records the village was first mentioned in 1335.[citation needed]

Geography

The municipality lies at an altitude of 220 metres and covers an area of 6.3 km2 (2.4 sq mi) (2020-06-30/-07-01).[4]

Population

It has a population of about 836 people (2020-12-31).[5]
