Hájske (Hungarian: Köpösd) is a village and municipality in Šaľa District, in the Nitra Region of southwest Slovakia.^[4]

In historical records the village was first mentioned in 1113.

The municipality lies at an altitude of 126 metres (413 ft)^[3] and covers an area of 14.06 km² (5.43 sq mi) (2024).^[5]

It has a population of 1315 people (31 December 2024).^[7]

In year 2021 was 1346 people by ethnicity 1230 as Slovak, 101 as Not found out, 12 as Hungarian, 11 as Romani, 9 as Czech, 6 as Canadian, 2 as Rusyn, 2 as Other, 2 as English, 1 as Ukrainian and 1 as Russian.

Hajske also has the distinction of being the home of cricket in Slovakia. The club attracts players from the village itself as well as from the expatriate community in Bratislava.
