Summary
Metarie, Louisiana: I-10 at Causeway Boulevard, 31 August, 2005. In the great floods of most of Greater New Orleans in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, this was the area of the last bit of unflooded passable highway out of town, and hence was one of the main evacuation station for Hurricane Katrina victims.
