Need help!
@Nightwalker-87, would you mind helping me to improve Rakuten Mobile wikipedia article. Since it is my very first article, I've no experience about creating pages that's why I need your help because you are the only person who has helped me in the past. Akshadev (talk) 11:18, 24 January 2023 (UTC)
- Hi. I may provide some assistance now and then as I find time for it, but one needs to keep in mind that (as usual) paid work takes precedence. So if you don't find yourself in any rush or strong commitments, we shall be fine. In this case I propose to comment in your draft directly. Nightwalker-87 (talk) 19:21, 24 January 2023 (UTC)
Fine with me (as I'm not in any kind of rush), thanks :). Akshadev (talk) 00:25, 25 January 2023 (UTC)
Note 8 in 5G NR Frequency Bands
Hi Nightwalker-87, I wanted to ask about Note 8 in the current 5G NR Frequency Bands (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/5G_NR_frequency_bands#Frequency_bands_and_channel_bandwidths) that if I understand "View History" functionality - you created this entry back in 2018. There is Note 8 that is assiociated with band n66 but I can't find any info about "Downlink between 2180–2200 MHz restricted to intra-band Supplemental Downlink" in 3GPP documents. Something changed? Could you source original of this information? 185.234.240.95 (talk) 13:58, 3 April 2024 (UTC)
- Hi. I can't remember to have added this information originally. I may have only restored this content from a previous state during maintenance, as I have never reviewed the mentioned document. Nightwalker-87 (talk) 18:17, 3 April 2024 (UTC)
- Hi,
- thanks for the reply. So from what I understand you are not original author. Is it possible to check who is originally responsible for this information? 185.234.240.95 (talk) 07:03, 4 April 2024 (UTC)
- One would have to look through the page history, I assume. Nightwalker-87 (talk) 15:16, 4 April 2024 (UTC)

The article List of planned LTE networks has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
No longer maintained list-article, content is mostly outdated (which may even be misleading to readers) and obviously of no further relevance, as new networks may still be added to the appropiate network-lists on wikipedia as soon as they launch. In the past this page served as a pool for active maintenance of such network lists, when building the mentioned lists, but as of now is no longer needed for this purpose. WP:NOT may also apply in this context.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
This is an automated notification. Please refer to the page's history for further information. DatBot (talk) 00:32, 24 February 2025 (UTC)
List of LTE networks in Europe
Hi there! BattyBot recently edited List of LTE networks in Europe to fix some unrecognized |language=
parameters, and you reverted the edit stating, "False positive". My bot then made the same edit the next time I ran it. I don't wish to get in an edit war with you. Could you please let me know more details about the false positive? Thanks! GoingBatty (talk) 02:51, 28 February 2025 (UTC)
- Hi there. Your bot not only fixed the language parametres (what is indeed acceptable), but also changed formatting (<small> </small>) introduced for a specific reason an changed (deleted) a source without any given reason. The latter changes being dominant to the edit, resulted in a complete revert of the edit. Please ensure that the bot is doing it's work as specified and intended. Nightwalker-87 (talk) 14:25, 28 February 2025 (UTC)
- Thank you for your reply. The bot's edit summary was "Fixed CS1 maint: unrecognized language and general fixes". One of the documented AutoWikiBrowser general fixes is that it "Removes <small> tags inside <small>, , tags". One of the apparently undocumented fixes is that AWB's genfixes also removes

parameters. - I've started a discussion at Wikipedia talk:AutoWikiBrowser#Genfixes removes small tags from citation title to discuss that fix and welcome your participation there. Thanks! GoingBatty (talk) 17:15, 28 February 2025 (UTC)

- From a cs1|2 perspective,
|title=Austria Networks: Drei AT, A1 and T-Mobile <small>(* non-official source)</small>
is wrong. The linked source does not include any of the words in the editorial comment:(* non-official source)
. Including text that is not part of the source title, whether wrapped in html markup or not, in|title=
or other cs1|2 parameters corrupts both the visual rendering and the COinS metadata. Don't do that. The correct fix is to place editorial commentary outside of the cs1|2 template before the closing</ref>
tag. - —Trappist the monk (talk) 17:42, 28 February 2025 (UTC)

- @Trappist the monk - Would adding
<small>...</small>
to the editorial commentary outside the template before the closing</ref>
tag mess up the COinS metadata? If not, I'll readd it for Nightwalker-87. GoingBatty (talk) 18:12, 28 February 2025 (UTC)- Editorial commentary outside of the template is outside of the template. Module:Citation/CS1 only sees what is between the
