Moving user pages
Why are you moving user pages to "Renamed user..." names? This isn't helpful in any way, please stop. Canterbury Tail talk 12:36, 16 March 2024 (UTC)
- @Canterbury Tail Apologize for my mistake, I didn't uncheck the "Suppress creation of redirects" in rename user interface. Thanks a lot, I'll take care of it. Hide on Rosé (thảo luận | đóng góp | trung ương) 13:53, 16 March 2024 (UTC)
Renames of Armormuseum/Mbwmoaa
Hi, why did you revert the rename that you did of this user? As the block message states, they're currently blocked primarily because of their username, and thus need a rename before an unblock would be possible. stwalkerster (talk) 14:45, 16 March 2024 (UTC)
- @Stwalkerster I think user must be unblocked before requesting username change; @DreamRimmer What do you suggest? Hide on Rosé (thảo luận | đóng góp | trung ương) 23:36, 16 March 2024 (UTC)
- They're not going to be unblocked before their username is changed - that's just not how username blocks on enwiki work. Normally, I'd expect them to use the {{unblock-un}} template to request a rename and that rename would then be actioned as part of the unblock process. Yes, this is already a little bit backwards because of the lack of use of that template, but given the block reason is solely for their username I (still) see zero reason for the block to prevent a rename. I don't like how we've collectively messed this user around over something that should be very straight-forward, but I'm gonna drop it for now as I've got other stuff to be getting on with. stwalkerster (talk) 00:42, 17 March 2024 (UTC)
- @Hide on Rosé, If there is a rename request from a user who is blocked on English Wikipedia solely because of their username, their request should be approved. In my opinion, we should leave these types of requests for renamers who are administrators on English Wikipedia so that the renaming and unblocking can be actioned at the same time. – DreamRimmer (talk) 01:18, 17 March 2024 (UTC)

Wikipedia:Changing username/Simple
Hello HoR, I'm kinda a newbie renamer, but I was under the impression that we gave responses a week/7 days, am I incorrect? - FlightTime (open channel) 16:31, 25 March 2024 (UTC)
- I think 3 days is minimum. Phạm Ngọc Phương Linh (T • C • CA • L • B) 02:31, 26 March 2024 (UTC)
- Seven days is more like it. - FlightTime (open channel) 14:39, 26 March 2024 (UTC)
Your signature
Hello Hide on Rosé, I think your signature goes against WP:CUSTOMSIG/P.
Specifically,
A customised signature should make it easy to identify your username.
A distracting, confusing, or otherwise unsuitable signature.
I'm not forcing you to change it, I'm just letting you know that you should consider changing it. Thanks! – DreamRimmer (talk) 01:09, 27 March 2024 (UTC)
Not trying to canvass but…
I put in a username request about a month ago, I am not trying to canvass to get you to accept it but I was under the impression that it would be a 7-day wait period and it’s now been a month. Any update? Thecowboygilbert - (talk) ♥ 13:04, 11 April 2024 (UTC)

March 2025
Your recent editing history shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war; read about how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.
