Please not that at the time George H.W. Bush gave the Chicken Kiev speech, Kiev was the most common spelling & hence the common name at the time. In English Wikipedia, we use the name of the jurisdiction at the time for historical articles. Peaceray (talk) 19:08, 25 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
