Timmy Williams (born April 10, 1981)[1] is an American comedian and radio personality. He is a member of the sketch comedy troupe The Whitest Kids U' Know alongside Trevor Moore, Sam Brown, Zach Cregger and Darren Trumeter. After holding a regular spot performing at Pianos in New York, the troupe was given a television show by IFC, which ran for five seasons between March 2007 and June 2011.
Career
Williams and Darren Trumeter are the only members to attend New York's School of Visual Arts. Williams was living in Hotel St. George student accommodation in New York at the same time as the rest of the Whitest Kids members (excluding Darren Trumeter). He met Trevor Moore and Sam Brown as a result of the September 11 attacks due to the towers being visible from Williams' bedroom window. [2]
Williams and the group secured a regular spot at the Pianos club for a few years prior to being commissioned by Fuse for a television series. The show moved to IFC by its second series and ran from March 2007 until June 2011.
Williams and fellow Whitest Kid Sam Brown appeared as The Guardians of the Doors in an episode of the 2008 Adult Swim series Fat Guy Stuck in Internet.
Williams announces for the radio station KXLG.[3] He also performed at Keep Portland Funny.[4]
Since October 2024, Williams has been a cohost on the horror movie podcast 'Urn Fulla Popcorn' alongside DJ Shandi Sullivan.
