The Life of Klim Samgin (Russian: Жизнь Клима Самгина, romanizedZhizn Klima Samgina) is a 14-part[1] 1988 Soviet TV series by director Viktor Titov, based on the eponymous novel (1927—1936) by Maxim Gorky. The series premiered on television in March–April 1988.[2]

Plot

The film describes the life of the Russian intellectual, reluctant revolutionary, in the background Klim Samgin grandiose panorama of Russian life from 1877 to 1917.[3]
