I would like to contest the proposed Speedy Deletion of this article.

Leopoldo Federico is one of the most outstanding bandoneonists in the history of tango and he enjoyed a close association with the tango revolutionary Ástor Piazzolla and his nuevo tango over many years. No history of tango would be complete without the inclusion of Federico. At present the article is only a stub but with help from others I would hope to remedy this.
