The article has a lot of "citation needed" tags, unsourced statements, is outdated, and isn't comprehensive enough to be FA (for ex. sources at further reading was not implemented). 🍕BP!🍕 (🔔) 13:10, 8 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, as far as I recall, FAC Coordinator recommended that all available reliable sources, including scholars should be added t the abody of the rticle. as a content 🍕BP!🍕 (🔔) 23:17, 8 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you but I'm having a hard time finding the relevance of your link. This particular article is not a Featured Article Candidate. I also see no policies regarding a "Further reading" section being required to be converted into citations. Finally, I don't see that this article has been nominated for FAR. Is that something you intend to do? --Midnightdreary (talk) 14:01, 9 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
It is not a policy, but required mostly for the FA articles somehow. Maybe I'm gonna nominate it so that it will be checked and possibly improved by other editors (surely it will since that article is popular), but it is not surprising that other editors will per Wikipedia:Unreviewed featured articles/2020. 🍕BP!🍕 (🔔) 14:31, 9 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I doubt other editors would improve this article. I brought it to FA to begin with and it's been mostly me working on it for many years now. I guess I better get to work. Thanks for the heads up. --Midnightdreary (talk) 15:29, 9 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
It is actually better to be at FAR so that people can assist you and spot other problems. It can be closed more than a year and even more as long as someone is interested at saving the article. So, there is no need to rush when it is actively at FaR (FAR is not that strict unlike FAC in my experience). 🍕BP!🍕 (🔔) 00:07, 10 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
