Requested move 26 March 2025
2025 Philippine protests → Demonstrations in support of Rodrigo Duterte – Current title is vague and theoretically may cover protests outside countering President Bongbong Marcos and/or supporting Duterte. Also covers a rally in the Hague, Netherlands and remittance boycott by Filipino migrant workers so current title is also inaccurate Hariboneagle927 (talk) 08:59, 26 March 2025 (UTC) — Relisting. - Oppose; I believe the current name could be used for more protests in the Philippines.

- There is one unifying factor in these protests, these are pro-Duterte protests. And we already have Protests against Bongbong Marcos for demonstrations which are not necessarily pro-Duterte. Hariboneagle927 (talk) 14:13, 27 March 2025 (UTC)
- Support. To call a single group of protests "2025 Philippine protests" is misleading and way too vague. Realistically, a page like this would best contain a list of protests in the Philippines for the entire year, given there are dozens that occur throughout. This page specifically talks about the Duterte-related ones, and while arguably it has received more media attention given the current media cycle focusing on the Dutertes, this is neither WP:COMMONNAME nor an accurate page title. If this truly were a page for "other" protests, then we should also include transport strikes, the International Working Women's Day protest, the strike at Nexperia, and a lot others. - Support given we have last week's protest on 2023–2024 transport strikes in the Philippines that has directly nothing to do with a President, though I would honestly have pushed for AFD on ground of WP:ROUTINE. Borgenland (talk) 13:22, 4 April 2025 (UTC)
- Also just finished reading the lead, it appears to have serious POV issues and appears to hog every single demo into a movement against BBM without providing nuance to other issues and groups (EJK, the Left, and the center; who are just as wary of the current as they have been with Duterte). - Support per @Chlod's reasoning. If this article intends to cover all protests in the Philippines, then it should also include other relevant demonstrations such as transport strikes and the Nexperia protest. Conversely, it should exclude events like the demonstration in The Hague, which did not take place in the Philippines and therefore falls outside the article's intended scope.
