Sahlan (Persian: سهلان)[a] is a village in Aji Chay Rural District of the Central District in Tabriz County, East Azerbaijan province, Iran. The ancient city of Gilikhan is located near Sahlan.[citation needed]

Demographics

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 3,025 in 641 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 3,379 people in 877 households.[5] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 3,664 people in 1,036 households.[2]
