Macaulay Tait (born 27 August 2005) is a Scottish professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Scottish Championship club Livingston on loan from Scottish Premiership club Heart of Midlothian.[2]
Career
Having initially been scouted playing for local Edinburgh club Lochend Boys Club, Tait joined Celtic aged eight, before joining Heart of Midlothian.[3] He signed a two-year deal with the club in April 2023 having impressed for the reserve side in the Lowland Football League whom he captained.[4][5]
Having made his debut in December 2023,[6] he signed a new four-year deal in February 2024.[7][8][9]
On 24 January 2025, Tait joined Scottish Championship side Livingston on loan for the remainder of the season.[10]
