Ivan Pedersen (born April 22, 1950) is a Danish composer, singer, drummer, and producer who has released over 20 albums since starting his musical career in 1966. He was the drummer and singer of the Danish band McKinleys from 1966 to 1980 and later formed the band Laban with Lecia Jønsson which lasted from 1982 to 1988. After Laban's dissolution, Pedersen, along with Helge Solberg, Svenne Wahlin, and Søren Jacobsen formed Backseat in 1992. Pedersen has also released multiple solo studio albums and has written and produced for a number of other Danish artists.

Pedersen's music career started in 1966 when he and some friends formed McKinleys, and the band released five albums before dissolving in 1980. After McKinleys's dissolution, Ivan began composing for other artists. In 1982, Ivan and Peter Grønbæk formed the short-lived band Taxie, which entered the Danish Melodi Grand Prix in 1982 with "Drømmene er forbi". The song took last place.

Also in 1982, with the help of record label EMI, Pedersen along with fellow Danish singer Lecia Jønsson formed Laban. The group was widely successful in Denmark and found success in other European countries, as well as success in the United States with their single "Love in Siberia." In the summer of 1988, after a tour in Sweden, Laban split up following fading popularity and disagreements of the group's future.
