The Dhangadhi Premier League (DPL) (Nepali: धनगढी प्रिमियर लिग ) was a franchise Twenty20 cricket league in Nepal. The league was founded by the Dhangadhi Cricket Academy and Sudur Pashchim Academy in 2017.[1]

The DPL season runs between the months of March and April, with each team playing 5 matches in round-robin format; the top 4 teams with the best record qualify for the Playoffs and culminates in the final.

The DPL title holders were Team Chauraha Dhangadhi, who won the 2017 season and 2018 Season while CYC Attariya became current champion in 2019 Season.

The 2017 season of Dhangadhi Premier League was the debut season of the Dhangadhi Premier League. The tournament featured six teams. The season began on 9 April 2017 with the final match being held on 22 April 2017.

The tournament was won by Team Chauraha Dhangadhi, who defeated Biratnagar Kings in the final. Sushil Kandel of Biratnagar Kings was declared the player of the tournament.[3]

2018 Dhangadhi Premier League (known as DPL2, for sponsorship reasons, Ruslan DPL 2) is the second season of Dhangadhi Premier League, a franchise Twenty20 cricket league in Nepal. The tournament started on 31 March and ended on 14 April in Dhangadhi.[2] Team Chauraha Dhangadhi were the defending champions.

2019 Dhangadhi Premier League

The 2019 Dhangadhi Premier League also known as DPL3 for the third season of Dhangadhi Premier League, a franchise Twenty20 cricket league in Nepal . It is held at Fapla International Cricket Ground.[4] The tournament started on 11 February and ended on 23 February in Dhangadhi. Team Chauraha Dhangadhi were the defending champions.

By the end of this season, CYC Attariya became the champion of the tournament by defeating Mahendra United by 3 wickets.[5]
