I have sent you a note about a page you started
Hi ScottDavis. Thank you for your work on Dale Elphinstone. Another editor, Mariamnei, has reviewed it as part of new pages patrol and left the following comment:
Thank you for your work on this article. Please note that self-published sources such as YouTube can generally not be used; please find better sources for these claims. Thanks and have a great day!
To reply, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|Mariamnei}}. (Message delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.)

- @Mariamnei: Thank you. I only created it as a redirect to Elphinstone Group six years ago. CineBrick315 (talk · contribs) turned it into a full article this week. Hopefully he/she is pinged by this message so will see your alert. Scott Davis Talk 04:13, 20 January 2026 (UTC)
- Pinging @CineBrick315. @ScottDavis - Thank you for pointing this out to me. This is a known problem with the review tool that I am told is being dealt with. Have a great day! Mariamnei (talk) 08:07, 20 January 2026 (UTC)
- @Mariamnei: No problems. I've had that kind of alert a few times for redirects I created years ago. I appreciate the efforts of the currently-active editors doing this kind of work - thank you. I am no longer anywhere near as active on Wikipedia as I used to be. --Scott Davis Talk 08:19, 20 January 2026 (UTC)
- Hi @Mariamnei @ScottDavis, Greetings from Tasmania and thank you for raising this – I've since combed over it and removed the YouTube interview source. CineBrick315 (talk) 13:56, 29 January 2026 (UTC)

Administrators' newsletter – February 2026
News and updates for administrators from the past month (January 2026).
- Due to the result of a recent motion, a rough consensus of administrators at the arbitration enforcement noticeboard may impose an expanded topic ban on Israel, Israelis, Jews, Judaism, Palestine, Palestinians, Islam, and/or Arabs, if an editor's Arab-Israeli conflict topic ban is determined to be insufficient to prevent disruption. At least one diff per area expanded into should be cited.
- Voting in the 2026 Steward elections started on 06 February 2026 at 14:00 (UTC) and will end on 27 February 2026 at 14:00 (UTC). The confirmation process for current stewards is being held in parallel. You can automatically check your eligibility to vote.
