Just because you specify |some_param=some_variable does not always mean that variable will display. The |some_param= must be defined in the template. You can look at the documentation for the template you are using but it is also helpful to use the preview button before you save your edit; this helps you find any errors you have made and ensure that the values you have added are displaying correctly. I have moved this to drafts, because there is nothing to indicate that the club is notable enough to justify an article. A draft on this subject was previously declined at AfC, and that version actually cited multiple sources, yet didn't establish notability. This version cites only a single source, which is nowhere near enough to satisfy the WP:ORG notability guideline. I haven't deleted anything. In fact, by draftifying it, I've saved your article from deletion, because that would have been the only other option.

It isn't enough that something, in this case a sports club, exists, it must be notable enough, as Wikipedia defines that, to justify having an article in a global encyclopaedia. The vast majority of sports clubs in this world aren't; the onus is on you to show that this particularly club is one of the few exceptions.

Per WP:ORG, we need to see significant coverage (not just squad lineups, match reports, new player and manager announcements, etc.), directly of the subject, in multiple secondary sources that are reliable and entirely independent (of the subject and of each other). At least one of these sources should be national, ie. not just local Oxford ones.

You also need to make sure that the contents are properly supported by referencing. This article cites only one source, and only once, leaving virtually all of it unsupported. -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 14:15, 19 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Littlemore is not 'targeted' in any sense. We have over 7m articles in the English Wikipedia, going back many years, in some cases 20+ (the Bicester one dates back to 2008), and they've come about in different ways. Not all of them comply with current standards, but as this is an entirely volunteer-based project, we can only deal with what are aware of, and even then the task of bringing all those legacy articles up to scratch is so vast that it will probably never be completed. This, however, does not mean that we should create more such problems; all new articles must comply with current policies and guidelines.

The RFU source is primary, as is the CoHo one, so those don't count. The Oxford Mail piece looks pretty good, so if you can find a couple more like it, that might be enough.

I've no knowledge of, or interest in, this subject so can't really help. You may want to ask at some of the Wikiprojects, eg. WikiProject Rugby union or WikiProject England in case someone there wants to chip in. -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 14:51, 19 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I know this may be a big ask, however, could you put in a request on my behalf and just explain that I am struggling drafting the citing the page appropriately? (Been over a year now as mentioned) I have asked Tea house and other organisations in the wiki and it has fallen on deaf ears. If you could do that, I would be extremely grateful.
