Paywall

Heya, just going back through past AfDs and I saw your comment on the Michael Meaney (darts player) AfD about some sources being hidden behind an institution paywall. You might find access to WP:The Wikipedia Library handy for this - it's what I use to access the ProQuest articles and it comes in handy for deletion discussions. Best regards and UTV — ser! 2026 World Championship

I'm gonna open this up for minor edits for the 2026 worlds page

I think it's safe to say we can still call the PDC Order of Merit the PDC Order of Merit, right? We can clarify that it's called the Werner Rankings Ladder now in the article but it's better to use the common name, same way we just say 2026 World Championship instead of 2025/26 Paddy Power World Championship. DYK for Gemma Hayter (darts player)

On 12 December 2025, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Gemma Hayter (darts player), which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that Gemma Hayter was inspired to return to playing darts after eight years when her friend became world champion? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Gemma Hayter (darts player). You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Gemma Hayter (darts player)), and the hook may be added to the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to nominate it.

Hi DartsF4. Thank you for your work on Mitchell Lawrie. Another editor, Klbrain, has reviewed it as part of new pages patrol and left the following comment:

What an interesting biography for an emerging darts star. Reaching an international final is sufficient for WP:NSPORT. Clearly written, engaging, and appropriately referenced.

Taylor greatest remark

I restored the Eric Bristow page to its former state before a recent edit. The original text stated Phil Taylor was the greatest darts player of all time. I notice you undid my edit. In many sports there may be a particular player that is slightly ahead of others, but there may be an element of doubt, so the word arguably is fully justified. But in 2026 (Littler or someone in the future may possibly get close to Taylor in years to come) can anyone seriously argue Taylor is not the greatest? There were hardly any majors throughout the 1990s and into the early years of this century when Taylor was dominating the sport, yet he is still miles ahead at the top of the majors leaderboard. I am not about to get into an edit-war over this but in this particular instance the word arguably seems the wrong word to use. Tennishistory1877 (talk) 23:16, 24 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]
