Infobox
- Delink 29 October 1976, dates in officeholder infoboxes are not linked
- Remove his name from the birth_name parameter since it's identical to the article's title. That parameter should only be used when their full name is longer, ie if his full name was something like Wolfgang Otto Hans von Junker or something, then it'd be in the birth_name parameter. (at least as far as I understand the parameter)
Lead
- Specify that he was an East German politician in the first sentence, not just a German politician since that implies he is known for being a politician when Germany was united before 1945 or after 1990 (he wasn't).
- Introduce German Democratic Republic or East Germany at least once before using the abbreviation GDR since some people might not know what that's an abbreviation for
- Remove the adjectives "influential" and "massive"
Body
- You should include Junker's birth date and place at the start of early career.
- After "he joined the ruling Socialist Unity Party (SED)", I'd add "of East Germany (GDR)" so that its established early on that he was primarily an East German politician and so that it establishes the GDR acronym as explained earlier
- Merge the last two paragraphs of Early career. MOS:LINEBREAKS
- Is there a link for Ministry for Construction?
- The second sentence of Minister is awkward. I'd reword it to "In November 1963, Junker succeeded Ernst Scholz as Minister for Construction when Scholz was appointed as ambassador to the United Arab Republic."
- Make the VII. Party Congress and VIII. Party Congress part of the sentence. Something like "During the VII. Party Congress from date to date", etc
- Merge the third and fourth paragraphs of Minister. MOS:LINEBREAKS
- "In October 1979, Junker also became", remove "also"
- I'd move the last paragraph of Minister into its own section before the references as like "Awards"
- Lowercase "death" in "Downfall and Death"
Images
- The 2 images in the body are ok
- I'm pretty sure the infobox image fails WP:NFCC#1. Even if there is no free portrait image of Junkers, there is still an image of him in File:Bundesarchiv Bild 183-H0423-0023, Berlin, Palast der Republik, Eröffnung.jpg and that counts as a free replacement.

- Thank you for your review. I addressed the points you raised. I decided to cut out the awards entirely (almost all East German awards were given out in the thousands and are thus not really notable). There isn't an article for the Ministry for Construction unfortunately, so the infobox links to the Construction Minister overview on the Council of Minister page. As for the infobox image, I'm not sure, but IMHO the free picture doesn't fulfill the "encyclopedic purpose" criteria set out by WP:NFCC#1 because you can't make out Junker in the picture, so the non-free portrait should be okay for "primary means of visual identification of that person in the article about them". - @Maxwhollymoralground: I asked on the Wikimedia Discord about WP:NFCC#1 and I think you're right about how it should be interpreted. I'll mark the images down as being ok. Everything else looks to have been address so I'll pass this review. Congrats! PizzaKing13 (¡Hablame!) 🍕👑 04:37, 7 July 2025 (UTC)
