Suggestion for Sources

This article requires more reliable sources. Some sources are unreliable, and many links are old and faulty (they do not link to anything). Wikipedia offers recommendations at the top of the article. The articles has lots of sources but no specific examples are given here. Vague hand-waving is insufficient. Andrew🐉(talk) 09:48, 23 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Error regarding Reagan service

It's not true that Temple got no position in the Reagan administration. Reagan tapped her for co-chair of the State Department's ambassadorial training seminars (essentially mentoring new envoys and their spouses on protocol and diplomacy). She accepted this in 1981 and served effectively until the mid-1980s, but it wasn't the marquee gig she (or the press) had anticipated. In late 1987, under Reagan, she was honored as an "honorary foreign service officer" by Secretary of State George Shultz—a nice capstone, but symbolic rather than substantive. The entry should be corrected. P Reader EO11 (talk) 20:31, 22 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
