Merge proposal for Strong (advertisement)

I think Strong (advertisement) should be merged into Rick Perry 2012 presidential campaign. The article about the ad itself is a stub: the ad is already discussed on this article to nearly the same degree, and in fact there is some information here (reaction within the campaign) which does not even appear on the ad's article.--Sunshineisles2 (talk) 03:34, 3 August 2025 (UTC)
- Oppose. While the Strong article is short at the moment, there is significant sourcing available. A full exploration would be undue in this article, but appropriate for a daughter article. Nikkimaria (talk) 03:45, 3 August 2025 (UTC)
- Support The advertisement's article is close to a stub, and I don't see evidence of it being a popular culture/political moment significant enough for its own page. Merging to his presidential campaign would be preferable. jolielover♥talk 04:34, 28 October 2025 (UTC)
- Support – The article is still 1 paragraph long despite being started 13 years ago. It's not going to suddenly get 10x larger. FaviFake (talk) 17:07, 28 October 2025 (UTC)
I've significantly expanded the Strong article. Nikkimaria (talk) 00:28, 29 October 2025 (UTC)
- Weak oppose to a merge at this time. The coverage is overwhelmingly contemporary and long-term relevance hasn't been demonstrated, but for the time being there's indication that it can stand on its own. Thebiguglyalien (talk) 🛸 18:07, 15 November 2025 (UTC)
