James, the 14 year-old Native American boy that Dahmer killed, should not be called a prostitute. It's best to avoid the word prostitute when describing adults because the word has such negative history and connotations. Given that James was a child, it would be best to say that James was a 14-year-old "who engaged in sexual activity in exchange for money;" such an edit would do more to humanize James. — Preceding unsigned comment added by ~2025-37837-42 (talk) 01:59, 2 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]
In the lead
Jeffrey Dahmer was homosexual; this is very important information because his victims were all male. 151.36.169.155 (talk) 00:18, 2 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]
The article already says: "When he reached puberty, Dahmer discovered he was gay" with a citation to Masters (1993) pp 43–44. And there is nothing that suggests that this ever changed for the rest of his life. I think it's pretty obvious that his sexual orientation was key to his selection of victims. But I'm not sure how this could be elegantly added to the lead section. What about ".. who killed and dismembered seventeen men and boys, with some of whom he had sex, between..."? I think it's unnecessary. The lead already says "sex offender" and "necrophilia" in relation to his victims.
Personally, I think mentioning his sexual orientation in the lead is a bit excessive. All his victims being male makes his orientation pretty clear. CJC-DI (talk) 23:39, 2 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]
When you look up into Dahmer's case closely nothing adds up at all. For example how is it possible for people to go missing and the police never found a trace of them when they were literally people who seen them leave the place with the same person and never coming back? Imagine you're chilling with your friends at some bars or some places and someone shows up offers something to your friend then your friend leaves the person with him then he goes missing right after!!! Wouldn't you go to the police and tell them that you seen who your friend was with the last time he was seen alive? I mean this is actually the police job to reach out to you because whenever a missing person file is reported police pay a visit to the people who were with them in the last moments, and a lot of other things in Dahmer's case don't add up that's why i believe he was a CIA agent working on the MK Ultra project but i can't type anymore I'm exhausted. 85.98.217.110 (talk) 02:58, 30 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Do you have any actual evidence to suggest that behavior of people at the bars Dahmer targeted was suspicious, beyond just personal hunches? Also, how does this relate to the CIA or MKUltra in any way? NesserWiki (talk) 10:03, 23 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]
It's conspiracy garbage. It doesn't have to make sense or have evidence, it just needs to sound spooky enough to scare people into believing it. CornyDude22 (talk) 11:22, 23 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]
