Interesting article about a neglected masterwork, on plenty of fine sources, offline sources accepted AGF. I like the original hook and ALT1. The image is licenced and a must imho. In case it is not taken, we should add the famous architect's name that can be concluded from the image. I wonder if File:Walser House 1.JPG would be the better image option, looking more like spring ;) - In the article, I'd say about the last owners, instead of "respective deaths", just "after they died" and follow with the deterioration. I don't think it's lead material that he died before her. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 16:21, 24 March 2025 (UTC)
Quick question
Interesting DYK article; but one question arose for me as i read it ~ what is BNY which is mentioned twice in one paragraph but never defined? It may be a common acronym for Chicagoans or architects or financial people, for us other ordinaries, though, it comes across as an unknown actor in the proceedings. Thanks ~ LindsayHello 06:17, 2 May 2025 (UTC)
- Thanks for bringing this up. It's a financial firm; I've clarified it. – Epicgenius (talk) 13:31, 2 May 2025 (UTC)
- Ha! Thank you for the clarification; makes me feel a little foolish to realise i could have just put double brackets around it and seen where that took me, but the thought never even crossed my mind! Nice work (the whole article) ~ LindsayHello 18:08, 2 May 2025 (UTC)
