Summary

Description
English: View of the ruins of the city of Feodosia, or Kafa, with part of the bay of the same name, drawn from the shore of the bay. A small, still inhabited part of the city can be seen with a citadel located to the east; there is a Greek church and a large mosque with a Turkish bath nearby; the entire circumference of the old city is fortified by walls and towers which still stand and the house of the Genoese consuls is built on this wall, as is the citadel. Mountains can be seen rising in the distance, towards Kara-Dag and Sudag.
