Description
English: Staff Sgt. Kenichira Watanabe, missile operator, Japanese Air Self Defense Force, uses a Type 91 Sam-2 Surface to Air missile launcher at enemy aircraft on the Pacific Alaskan Range Complex during Red Flag-Alaska 07-3 July 24. With 67,000 square miles of rugged terrain, Japanese Forces are able to train tracking low flying aircrafts against a mountain back drop; this type of training is unavailable to them at their home station.
