Nace Juan Antonio en 1832, y muere en 1918. En 1859 se casó con Socorro Castillo, hija de Pedro Castillo, el pintor que decoró las paredes de la Casa Páez de Valencia con escenas de la Batalla de Carabobo y que fuera uno de sus maestros de pintura. padrel del ilustre pintor venezolano Arturo Michelena.
