Domaniža (Hungarian: Demény) is a village and municipality in Považská Bystrica District in the Trenčín Region of north-western Slovakia.

In historical records, the village was first mentioned in 1268.^{[citation needed]}

The municipality lies at an altitude of 382 metres (1,253 ft)^[3] and covers an area of 26.06 km² (10.06 sq mi) (2024).^[4]

It has a population of 1644 people (31 December 2024).^[6]

In year 2021 was 1601 people by ethnicity 1546 as Slovak, 59 as Not found out, 11 as Czech, 8 as Other, 4 as Russian, 3 as Moravian, 2 as Ukrainian, 2 as Italian, 1 as Rusyn and 1 as French.
