This template generates citations to The Ismāʻı̄lı̄s: Their History and Doctrines by Cambridge University Press.
The key=value parameters such as |author=, |title=, etc. are defined in Module:SST/shards/I under book keys ISMAILIS_DAFTARY_1990 and ISMAILIS_DAFTARY_2007.
For editions:
To cite the first edition include |edition=1st. Otherwise it will display the second edition (2007).

Chapters
To link to a specific chapter, use |chapter= for the title and |chapter-page= for the starting page number. This generates a dedicated URL for the chapter. Use the exact page number that will be in the URL (e.g., either "42" for a printed page number, or "n17" if the machine leaf number is required).

Roman Numerals & Leaf Mapping
Standard page numbers link automatically. However, pages with Roman numerals (e.g., xiii) or unnumbered plates may require a machine "leaf number" or "sequence number" to route the URL correctly depending on the digital host.
Use the format display@machine, where "display" is the printed page number and "machine" is the physical leaf required by the digital library.
