Addition of a PUP/IL?
Just a potential thought, I believe it would potentially be useful to move injured talent from their brand to a potentially new subsection for those with a legitimate injury/reason for leave to a Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) or Injured Reserve to clear up who's actually, consistently on TV and who is not. Again, just spitballing ideas here. Bigmanethan (talk) 05:36, 26 September 2025 (UTC)
- We would need a consensus of course but I for one think that this is a pretty good idea. And I think it should also apply to personnel pages like those for AEW and TNA. Addicted4517 (talk) 03:21, 1 October 2025 (UTC)
- I've thought that it's a decent idea personally. It could definitely throw the average reader off when they see, for example, Liv on RAW's roster yet she hasn't appeared in close on 4 months. if it were to be added, the limitation should probably be for an injury that: 1. is legitimate, and 2. keeps said talent out for longer than 3 weeks. - I was looking at this page and wondered what happened to wrestlers that seemed to be missing and saw they’ve been put on a separate list. I personally think it's more confusing as now we don’t see which roster they’re on and I thought the whole point of Notes was to explain why they’re not currently on television, which isn’t a hidden feature. The PUP list seems to to fix something that wasn’t broken, it feels redundant and just confuses the general public who want a simple way to see who’s on which show, which the PUP list doesn’t even mention what brand they’re on. - That's an interesting point. I like the idea of a PUP list but I do see the flaws. Plus "PUP list" might not be a good heading because PUP isn't a general abbreviation, so people might end up not checking that section. I recommend changing the header to "Inactive list" or something in line with that. I also recommend adding a Brand column in the table to indicate what brands they were on. TheVoicelessWriter (talk) 06:26, 22 November 2025 (UTC)
- "Inactive list" is a bad idea because it opens the door for unsourced changes just because someone isn't appearing on television. Tiffany Stratton would be a good current example - she hasn't been seen she dropped the WWE Women's title to Jade Cargill. It must be an injury or another valid and reported reason for being out of the ring (eg Naomi being pregnant). A brand column is not relevant as it is an absence for all of WWE, not to mention the possibility of a brand change upon return. Addicted4517 (talk) 05:20, 23 November 2025 (UTC)

- WWE just confirmed that Dominik Mysterio is out due to a shoulder injury. That usually means that we move him to the PUP list, but he currently holds the Intercontinental Championship so maybe he should just stay under the Raw brand. What would be the more appropriate move? TheVoicelessWriter (talk) 01:58, 30 December 2025 (UTC)
- PUP list. The championship can stay with him on the list in the notes until that is clarified. Addicted4517 (talk) 06:54, 4 January 2026 (UTC)
El Grande Americano (2nd discussion)
Technically a new member on RAW and ludwig kaiser has never been proven to be him and has never been subject to that speculation on WWE TV, so again, he is technically a separate talent from Kaiser. this would also make him eligible for the "lucha libre" note. Bigmanethan (talk) 05:46, 10 November 2025 (UTC)
- reliable sources back up kaiser's role, adhering to kayfabe isn't part of pw mos PepsiPhilPunk (talk) 15:24, 10 November 2025 (UTC)
- understood. Bigmanethan (talk) 21:44, 10 November 2025 (UTC)
Medical team
The link to the medical staff on the WWE Corporate website leads to a page that doesn't exist anymore, if possible need to find a new source. Gorrrillla5 (talk) 20:48, 14 December 2025 (UTC)
PUP list
I just reverted a change in description that requires a consensus. It was from "are away from programming for other reasons" (which in upon itself is objectionable) to a very specific "personal leave, legitimate suspension, or any other reason preventing them from appearing at live events". This needs to be discussed in order to prevent future issues like kayfabe injuries in storyline (eg Seth Rollins and his knee). Suspensions should not be included in the PUP list in my view. John Cone
How long are we leaving John Cone in the referee section? At this point, his primary focus is Talent Relations -- he should probably be moved into one of the management sections with "occasional referee" in the notes. Even when he appears on their documentaries now, he's identified as a former referee. Just putting it out there. Kjscotte34 (talk) 10:57, 12 January 2026 (UTC)
- You'll need a source to back that up. Lemonademan22 (talk) 18:19, 14 January 2026 (UTC)
Inclusion of the wrestlers' country of origin in the roster list
@Bigmanethan has added the wrestlers' country of origin because it's what has been done in the UFC articles. What are your thoughts about it? Should it stay? Should it be applied to other roster articles? TheVoicelessWriter (talk) 00:42, 31 January 2026 (UTC)
- I don't mind. Please also add the Cuban flag next to Cody Rhodes since his mother is Cuban.! ~2026-65022-2 (talk) 06:58, 31 January 2026 (UTC)

- why? Cualeslafechadehoy (talk) 00:19, 8 February 2026 (UTC)
- wrestling isn't a sport that does have international recognition in this way. Usually when we have a |sport country= parameter it is for people who represent that country in international competition. Or, in the case of some individual sports, they do this in theory.
- Wrestling isn't like that at all. People are billed from all over the place. It doesn't need to have any bearing on real life so having the parameter for someone's real life lineage is pointless Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs) 08:26, 8 February 2026 (UTC)
- makes sense. thanks for the answer Cualeslafechadehoy (talk) 21:30, 13 February 2026 (UTC)

AJ Styles
I think that we should have AJ Styles still be a part of this list: for one, he is still part of the WWE.com roster page and during Raw, it was announced that he will be inducted into this year's Hall of Fame following a tribute episode. I think this shows that he is still part of WWE, meaning that unless he is moved to the WWE Alumni section, then he should remain on this page (though I'm not sure which section would be most appropriate.) It is likely he may sign / (or already have signed) a Legends deal. I won't update the page until there is further discussion here, just let me know your thoughts.
