Absolutely fascinating article. The wording of ALT1 doesn't quite make sense, but ALT0 and ALT2 are approved. ezlevtlk/ctrbs 04:28, 3 June 2021 (UTC)
Directors in lead section
In this recent edit by PanagiotisZois (talk · contribs), the user added the 2025 anime film's director to the lead section to make it consistent with the live-action film's director. However, it was reverted by Morgan695 (talk · contribs).
That said, which directors should be mentioned in the lead section where appropriate? Thanks, Lord Sjones23 (talk - contributions) 00:36, 10 February 2025 (UTC)
- I think the lead should note that Lady Oscar was directed by Jacques Demy because it's specifically notable that the film was created by a director of his stature. The 2025 animated adaptation, on the other hand, is more or less an anonymous big studio project; if anything were to be added, something like
produced by MAPPA
probably makes more sense. Morgan695 (talk) 03:11, 10 February 2025 (UTC)
Proposal for character and synopsis section merges?
I'm thinking about merging the character and synopsis sections into one section, using some other GAs such as One Piece as references. Thoughts? Lord Sjones23 (talk - contributions) 05:05, 6 March 2025 (UTC)
- @Sjones23: Sure; it's a short section for a GA, and most of the anime have the list of characters in a {{Main}} below the "Plot/summary/synopsis" section. ミラP@Miraclepine 15:43, 4 April 2025 (UTC)
Synopsis section
While I've been making some copy edits to the article from time to time, I have a question: how should we reorganize the opening sentence of the synopsis section if needed? Lord Sjones23 (talk - contributions) 20:57, 22 March 2025 (UTC)
Image Description
The description of the image given in the infobox caption is very clearly not accurate to the image being used? 2A00:23C8:7B9D:B701:D16A:2ABE:60E1:DD83 (talk) 10:56, 26 May 2025 (UTC)
