This article should have elite article status

Hello friends, I have an important question. Can we not include this article in the elite article catalogue? I have roughly looked at the articles and it meets all of them. I am waiting for your opinions. Tuncelisüvarisi (talk) 10:29, 30 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Character and in ring style Mysterio hitting a double 619

With Mysterio being on the shorter side for a pro wrestler only standing a 5 ft 6. It has led to him being portrayed as an heroic underdog throughout most of his career, WWE announcer Michael Cole has commonly referred to him as “the biggest little man in all of WWE”.[356] Mysterio has been a babyface for almost the entirety of his career, besides a brief period in during his time in WCW when he was part of the Filthy Animals stable. This also coincided with the only period of his career where he wrestled without a mask before he joined WWE in 2002, Mysterio was not a fan of the de masking however he went along with it due to pressure.[357] The world Booyaka (should be The word Booyaka) is often associated with Mysterio as it appears prominently in his theme song Mysterio has claimed the word is a way of saying Bam.[358] In the ring he is known for high-flying style and his singnature move is the 619 where he puts his opponent between the ropes and swings through connecting with his feet, it is then usually followed up with a splash off the top rope. The move was inspired by a fellow Mexican wrestler he had been a fan of growing up called Super Astro.[359] ~2026-12618-6 (talk) 01:45, 7 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]
