You can not what make X a sports film and Y not and why are Z does not count I working on a pure sport list (witch would be great if some helps expand)

The "Highest-grossing films by sport" section lists films by sport, some of which are questionable (Luca is a triathlon movie?), but its references link to pages showing the gross ticket sales, not pages that verify that a given film is the highest-grossing movie for that sport. Without defining "sports film", or even what qualifies as "sport" or "a sport", this page is meaningless and a complete waste of the time it took to compile... and takes to maintain. Define the term in the first sentence and then "fix it" based on the definition. As that definition will then be discussed within Wiki by interested parties, the list will eventually become a valid list of the highest grossing sports films; rather than what is currently incorrectly attributed as such. 98.183.255.22 (talk) 13:32, 18 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
