"It is bordered by the Mediterranean Sea to the north, Palestine (Gaza Strip) and Israel to the northeast," Remove "and" and replace with a comma Sinai Peninsula (talk) 01:37, 25 November 2025 (UTC)
- Also remove (Gaza Strip) so it's just
- Palestine, Israel to the northeast Sinai Peninsula (talk) 01:39, 25 November 2025 (UTC)
Partly done: It's saying Israel and Palestine are both in the northeast of Egypt, so I'm not adding that comma. However, I've removed "(Gaza Strip)" as it seemed redundant to me. Hacked (Talk|Contribs) 02:20, 25 November 2025 (UTC)

I have created a new type of file of the coat of arms on Commons:

I did this because if I edit it, both the flag & the coat of arms, will have the same shade of yellow. Dynamiscool (talk) 13:23, 15 December 2025 (UTC)
Not done: it's not clear what changes you want made. Please detail the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. Aston305 (complain/compliment) 19:21, 15 December 2025 (UTC)
Did I miss anything?
I’ve tried to eradicate all the American English spellings in a single edit, as per the notice at the top of this talk page. If there is any American spelling I've missed, please carefully analyze the article and change it to British English. 2600 etc (talk) 04:44, 23 December 2025 (UTC)

Flag of Egypt
The eagle color is not right, please reverse to the old flag design where the eagle was gold.
the Egyptian presidency itself uses the flag with the gold eagle (darker shade of yellow)
you can check the page where it literally uses the flag with gold eagle :https://www.presidency.eg/en/%D9%85%D8%B5%D8%B1/%D9%85%D8%B9%D9%84%D9%88%D9%85%D8%A7%D8%AA-%D8%A3%D8%B3%D8%A7%D8%B3%D9%8A%D8%A9/%D8%A7%D9%84%D8%B9%D9%84%D9%85-%D8%A7%D9%84%D9%88%D8%B7%D9%86%D9%89/%D8%A7%D9%84%D8%B9%D9%84%D9%85-%D8%A7%D9%84%D9%85%D8%B5%D8%B1%D9%8A-%D8%A7%D9%84%D8%AD%D8%A7%D9%84%D9%8A/
not to mention that the Egyptian constitution (article 223) confirms it also that the eagle uses a golden color :
lastly, the Egyptian government uses alot of variations of this eagle, most Organization uses an orange color eagle, others use yellow, and most of them use black outline on the eagle, but for the most part the gold eagle is the main subject, the presidency uses it, the parliament uses it, the head of the government uses it. North Africa
There is a discussion at Talk:North_Africa#Recent_additions_(January_2026) that could do with more input. Thanks. M.Bitton (talk) 16:06, 1 February 2026 (UTC)
