Description
English: Sketch of the admirals of the International Squadron of ships of the Austro-Hungarian Navy, French Navy, Imperial German Navy, Italian Royal Navy (Regia Marina), Imperial Russian Navy, and British Royal Navy off Crete. As the "Admirals Council," "Council of Admirals," or "International Council," they managed affairs on Crete during the international intervention there in 1897-1898.
