English: English: Chromagen and X-chrom lenses are types of monocular color corrective lenses. They are usually red tinted, but sometimes other colors. The lenses are claimed to alleviate the symptoms of red-green color blindness. Their transmittance is plotted on top of the normalized spectral sensitivities of the standard cone opsins. The lenses filter out short wavelengths. Transmittances taken from [Moreland et al 2010] (Chromagen) and [Gonzalez et al 2021] (X-chrom).
