Sarai Kale Khan – Nizamuddin metro station
The Sarai Kale Khan – Nizamuddin metro station is on the Pink Line of Delhi Metro.[1] It became operational on 31 December 2018, as part of Phase III of Delhi Metro's expansion, under the name Hazrat Nizamuddin, before being renamed Birsa Munda Chowk - Nizamuddin in 2019.[2]
As part of the Sarai Kale Khan multi-model transport hub on the Inner Ring Road, the Sarai Kale Khan – Nizamuddin metro station facilitates the transfer between the Sarai Kale Khan ISBT, Hazrat Nizamuddin railway station, Sarai Kale Khan RRTS Interchange for the Delhi NCR's regional semi-highspeed rail, and the Sarai Kale Khan HSR interchange on the Delhi–Kolkata high-speed rail corridor and Delhi–Ahmedabad high-speed rail corridor, as well as the suburbs in its vicinity, the eponymous Sarai Kale Khan, Nizamuddin East, and Nizamuddin West.
Layout
There are Sulabh toilets in the station but no ATMs.[3]
