The Evidence was an American television series that debuted on 22 March 2006; a police procedural drama produced by John Wells and starring Rob Estes, Orlando Jones, and Martin Landau.

Summary

The Evidence was a character-driven detective series revolving around Inspectors Sean Cole (Rob Estes) and Cayman Bishop (Orlando Jones), two long-time partners and best friends in the San Francisco Police Department. The crucial evidence of every case is presented at the outset of the story; all of the pieces to the puzzle will be known by viewers from the beginning. The question is -- how does it all fit together?

The show's pilot episode premiered on Wednesday, 22 March 2006 at 10 p.m. on the ABC television network, it aired in that spot for four weeks but suffered from poor ratings and was not renewed for the fall season, the remaining episodes were aired on Saturdays 10/9c on ABC during June and July of 2006
